Father, we come before You again.
We have asked before.
We have waited.
We have hoped.
And still we ask.
Please, Lord, give Ashley and Tommy a child.
If it is Your will, open Ashley’s womb and let life begin where for so long there has been longing. Speak Your creative Word into the emptiness. You who call life out of nothing, breathe life here.
And if their child is already conceived in another mother’s womb, already born, or still waiting somewhere within Your providence, please bring them together.
Move every obstacle.
Open every door that should open.
Close every door that is not of You.
Guide the expectant mother who may one day choose them.
Protect her and her child.
And when the time is right, let them recognize one another.
Blessed Fulton Sheen, you loved children and taught the world to trust the providence of God. Please intercede for Ashley and Tommy. We dare to ask for a miracle through your intercession: the gift of a child, whether through conception or adoption, according to the holy will of God.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the unborn Christ, wrap Ashley and Tommy beneath your mantle. Hold them when another month passes, another possibility disappears, another hope hurts.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, you knew poverty, uncertainty, waiting, danger, exile, and the hidden life of Nazareth. Come into their home.
There is room for a child there.
There are arms waiting to hold one.
There are hearts already loving someone whose face they do not yet know.
Lord, if it be Your will, please do not let them wait much longer.
But while they wait, do not let the waiting separate them from You.
Make their home another Nazareth.
And one day, if You grant what we beg of You, let the sound of a little child fill it.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for them.
Holy Family, help them to be a holy family and pray for them.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, we trust in You.
